Reflection

1st QUARTER REFLECTION

The learning/discoveries that i have gained are having a much deeper understanding on the different subject's that I'm studying. I've discovered that i can be a little bit better at school i just need to pursue and give a much deeper focus on my studies. Learning new skills, especially time management, for me this is the most essential skill that you need to master, so that you can avoid things that can give you a hard time while doing your activities, one example is cramming, this can really give you a hard time especially when you have a lot of pending activities. One thing that I've learned to do is, communication, between me and my group mates to all of my classmates. It has teached me how to exchange information, Idea, and feelings, it helps in understanding others

The problem that I have encountered is time management. Before I mastered this skill, I was really struggling with my studies. It gave me a hard time to focus on what I need to focus on because of the many pending activities that I haven't done that I should’ve finished a lot sooner. This gave me disadvantages especially when we have an upcoming test or quiz the next day. Instead of studying for the test, what I'm going to do is to finish the pending activities that I have to submit on the same day. It gave me a little time to study for the test; therefore I received a low score. Not only that I have to consider all of my big responsibilities in our religion, almost spending half of my day fulfilling those responsibilities. It really is a struggle when you don't know how to manage your time.

To improve my time management, I'll start making a planner to map out different tasks for me to do today, and when is the deadline of those specific tasks. Another way is that I'll break down large tasks to smaller tasks to make it easier and so that I don't get overwhelmed. I'll allocate most of my time for studying, so that I can finish all tasks that needs to be finished. I'll also stay away from any distractions that can disrupt my studies, for example, social media or online games. These can really manipulate you, by giving you a feeling of relaxation, not knowing that it's preventing you from doing your responsibilities in your household, and with school. I'll stick to a routine that helps me focus on my studies and limit unnecessary activities, so that I can become more efficient and balanced in doing my responsibilities. This approach reduces last-minute stress and help me concentrate more on my studies.

Moving on, I will definitely try my hardest and learn how to manage my time. I’ve learned that it takes a really good responsibility in order to handle all of the stress, pressure, and especially the big responsibility that I have to take care of in our religion. I will also learn how to do the things that I must do as soon as possible so that it’ll not be a struggle for me to work on my other pending activities or requirements. Based on what I have encountered, It is very necessary for me to do my activities the moment that they’ve sent it for me to do so that I will not encounter the pressure, the stress, and the struggle. The particular thing that I must do throughout my studying process is always manage my time, and to spend it responsibly because if I don’t spend my time responsibly, I will definitely struggle and get stressed. The reason why I want to learn more on how I manage my time is for me to also have enough time to do my other responsibilities besides doing my schoolwork. Therefore, I will learn slowly on how to manage it and on how to spend my time responsibly.

Climate Change and Resilience of Filipinos

Many Filipinos’ lives are deeply affected by environmental changes, often caused by a mix of human activities and natural factors. Cutting down forests for farming or development harms ecosystems, reduces wildlife, and increases the chances of floods and soil erosion. Rapid urban growth without proper planning creates overcrowded cities with poor waste, water, and energy systems, leading to pollution and unsafe living conditions.     Climate change worsens these problems. Rising temperatures, stronger typhoons, and longer droughts, water, and livelihoods, especially for farmers and fisher folk. Coastal communities are at risk from rising sea levels, which cause floods and destroy homes and jobs. On top of this, natural disasters like earthquakes and volcanic eruptions add to the struggles, making it harder for people to recover.     Solutions require urgent action focused on sustainability and resilience. Replanting forests, enforcing stricter env...

Thematic

Protecting Women and Children from Violence and Exploitations or Republic Act No. 9262, is important in protecting women and children in the Philippines. This law addresses different forms of violence, such as physical, emotional, sexual, and economic abuse. It provides women and children with legal protection and support to help them escape harmful situations. The law also ensures that abusers are held accountable, showing the government’s commitment to protecting the rights and safety of women and children. Every year, the 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, observed from November 25 to December 12, emphasizes the importance of this law. The campaign spreads awareness about violence against women and children and encourages communities to act against it. Activities like seminars and media campaigns help educate people about the law and inspire them to stand together for a violence-free society. By highlighting the VAWC Act during this time, the campaign strengthens effort...
